The fact that these two smile like this is hysterical. I, honestly, can’t remember Maya or Jonah doing this, but who the hell knows. I mean, that was well over 10 years ago. Seriously, Bode looks like he’s uncomfortable.
What is up with kids finding the need to strip things down to their bare skeleton instead of just leaving them in tact like normal people do in normal life. They insisted on taking the hood off of the tractor and leaving the engine exposed. Love does that with her dolls, too. Stripped right down to their bare “skin”. So weird.
Bode doing Daddy’s job since Daddy’s “on an airplane”.
Because this is a good idea: “HARLEY, STEP ON THE GAS!” I’m not even kidding.
This is the only picture Maya sent me of their trip today. She was all fired up about the assortment of bacon. That’s it.
My Saturday night: wine in a can and Fells steak tips. Keepin’ it classy.
Car wash selfie with my ecstatic mother.
Hit is HARD at Nordstrom Rack today. It took everything in me to not purchase this sweatshirt. On top of the greatest logo ever on front, it was the softest shirt I’ve maybe ever felt in my whole life long. And, still didn’t buy it. I, basically, saved our family $50. Yup, I earned $50 today shopping. I “worked” on a Saturday. See what I did there?
Mean muggin’ at the Natick Farmer’s Market today.
Bode was fascinated by this jeweler’s table full of jewelry, fancy cheese knives, and spoons.
Almost ate the coffee beans in the display dish. That’s his train there, though 🙂
These two dweebs FaceTimed me while they were waiting for their flight to take off.
And, since Kat was FaceTiming her Mom, she had her Mom FT me through the phone Ben and Maya were using. So ridiculous.
It’s taken some time, but I have finally mastered the art of applying gymnastics tape without allowing it to come in contact with my nail polished thumb nail. I’m that good.
Best on-the-go snack: Paleo Power Meal’s 3-egg veggie omelette. You can just about eat it like a sandwich.
Drove this crew to the airport so they can head out and watch Katrin win the CrossFit Games again 🙂 I’m following them out on Thursday.
Those two are, seriously, like either twin sisters or best friends. Or, both.
While we waited for Katrin to come out to go to the airport, Maya and I reminisced about the days when her and Jonah lived here with us. We were crying on the inside.
Ben just robotically making trips in and out with Kat’s luggage…while she was Snapchatting inside..
Whole family out on the front step belting out our goodbyes, blowing kisses, honking horns…at 6:30am on a Saturday.
My Dad teaching Baby Love how to play his silly games on his phone.
