Started off the day racing vehicles with this little stud muffin.
AAA makes getting your car to the dealership to replace your tire easier so you don’t have to switch out car seats and wake your kids to get there on time.
Laura Collins texted this to me from Natick Center. Can’t miss that thing on a flat bed rollin’ through town.
Stylin’ for school with his Pure Strength backpack.
OMG. No lie. Showed up at the gym and Kat was wearing the EXACT SAME PANTS AS ME. Totally didn’t plan it. Even FaceTimed her in the morning to get her opinion on what to wear to dinner that night, so I was in a cocktail dress and she was in her jammies. If it were anyone else, I would’ve gone and changed. But, she’s a sistah sistah, so it all good.
And, Becca presented me with the greatest bunch of unicorn/rainbow balloons which I was, shocker, color coordinated with my entire outfit…especially when I put on my blue weight belt, purple knee sleeves, and blue lifters. What the heck.
OMG, you guys. Jonah had his FIRST EVER Nobles Cross Country meet at The Park School!!! Look at his little body freezing cold out there. Ohhhhhh!!!
The mass start when a pack of 12 years olds take off the line on the horn like they’re going to win the Olympics…then, realize all too soon that they’re not fit enough to be running that fast…for 2.1 MILES.
HE DID IT!!! 21 minutes flat. SO PROUD.
THIS girl is one of the best waitresses I have ever met. Cynthia, my beautiful little lady, I wish you lived in my basement. If any of you ever go to The Beehive on Tremont Street in Boston and see this woman, please tell her I said HELLOOOOOO!!!

Me and my man 🙂
My squad: Ally Bushey, Rachel Martinez, Tracy O’Donnell, and Krystle Orlando.
And, Harry. BAHAHAHAAHHAAA
And, the other side of my squad table: Holly and Dave Hamel, Kat, Jordon Samuel Chabinsky, and Ben’s Dad, Paul.
These girls. I just love them so, so much. They make me so happy and have been there for so many more times than I could ever thank them for.
This was, honest to God, one of the best nights of my whole life. So simple, just a dinner in town, a couple fun drinks, in a super cool restaurant…but, with some of the most important people in my life. Nights like this bring you back down to Earth and remind you that you, literally, wouldn’t survive it all…or, have nearly as much fun doing it…without the people you choose to rope into your life.
*Rachel feeling me up…like the good old days 😉
Woke up on Thursday morning and started packing up Love’s snack for school when Ben sneaks in the kitchen fully dressed saying, “TIME FOR ANOTHER SURPRISE. Pack your bags. We need to be in the car by 8:30. We’re going on a 4 day trip!” So, I packed my bags, and my ram pillow, and my Power Dots, and did as I was told 🙂
Ended up dropping the kids off at his mother’s on the Cape, and got on the ferry to Nantucket for the weekend.
And, this is right before I got seasick from the rocky ride over to the island.
I’ve officially turned old: I couldn’t stop taking photos of gardening.
This woman walked by us laughing hysterically with her friends yelling, “OMG! I LOOK LIKE A HOMELESS PERSON!” Okayyy. A “homeless person”? Have you seen my daughter’s toe nails? You do NOT look like a homeless person.
Our “fancy” dinner out at Oràn Mòr. We were looking at photos on my phone and realized that Ben wears this shirt in almost every non-gym outfit picture.
And, sexy time. But, not really. Because THIS is what you do at bedtime when you’re 40, I guess.
