I got to sit next to one of my favorite females on the planet, Rachel Martinez 🙂 She was there with Conor to be part of the Demo Team this weekend. JP, the owner of Brick CrossFit, was also there. He sat next to a couple that was there from Timex, who’s looking to cut a deal with Castro. AJ is sitting there next to Karianne’s sister. Karianne is next to Castro, who’s next to Chris from Kill Cliff, and Joe Assencoa…a member in my class and a rep for Kill Cliff.
Our fancy pants appetizers. We also got a few plates of “Bacon & Eggs”, a pork belly dish with sunny side up eggs and grits.

The number of people lined up to take photos with Castro is hysterical. NONE of them had a selfie stick, though 🙂 Maybe that’s because right after we took this photo, security told me they weren’t allowed.
LOVING these. They sent us a bunch for samples and I had them in my bag here during the day as back up. Perfect snack fix.
This, literally, happened on the highway just as I pulled up. Emergency vehicles hadn’t even gotten there yet. I’ve never seen anything like it. When I drove by, I can’t even tell you how strong the heat felt in MY car. It was insane and pretty scary.
My lunch date with myself: cold grilled chicken, green smoothie, my ducks, allergy medicine, my razor (because I don’t have a case for it and I’m too scared of cutting myself if I put it in a bag), and a bottle of FitVine Wine for tomorrow night.

Since Maya was the only one with me at the house this morning and I was rushing with packing, I trained in the driveway…at 6:30 am. My neighbors are VERY patient with barbells dropping and loud music before 7 am. We are very lucky.
I had trained and showered by 7:30 am. Incredible.
The note I hid in Maya’s backpack for her to find later in the day after I left. I felt so bad because she got SO mad at me for waking her up in bed when I realized she hadn’t brushed her teeth, yet. Like, she HATED me.
Again. NAILED it.
