When Sean Rockett called me this morning to see if I could make it in to get my heel looked at, Bode asked to talk to him. So, I handed him the phone. After a longer conversation than you could’ve even thought possible, I heard Bode say, “Umm, can I go in your rocket ship and fly up into space?” Maybe the cutest question of all time.

Was VERY impressed that Hamel rallied and made it out with the old bum bicep. This little crew of guys here, though. Such a little band of brothers that I get to hang out with all the time. So lucky 🙂
And, ole’ Brad “Cheese Man” Wasik. Swung by his family’s cheese shop to say hello on our way to the CFNE social tonight, and he treated us to a glass of rosè pinot noir and some aged gouda. It was perfect.
It’s always very impressive when someone knows as much as Brad does about wine and cheese.
Such a great message I got yesterday from an old CFNE member after he read my post about why Ben’s a great coach: “One day I was at CFNE trying to learn how to climb a rope. I kept falling. I kept failing but I kept trying. It was a Goat day and so I was working on it. Ben was working out Spealer about 30 feet away from me at a lift station. All of a sudden, Ben was standing beside me helping me with technique while Spealler was standing over at the lift station. Frickin’ Spealler. I just could not believe it that Ben took precious time away from his coaching Spealler to help me climb a rope. That’s the kind of thing that builds significant trust because he showed that he cared.”
