Family dinner: soooooo dysfunctional. But, it works.
Lauren Plumey has a BABY!!! Meet Baby Asa. Your mother is one of the craziest people I have ever met, Asa. But, she is full of love 🙂
We found a digger in our back yard when we got home from the Cape!
Ben also found a poor little dead bird in our yard. While the boys were going to bury it, I went to change Love’s diaper. When I looked out the window, I saw them giving the bird a proper burial, talking about the birdie’s friends and family and heaven. It was one of the sweetest little scenes. I love what little kids do to motivate you with things like this. If it weren’t for Bode, I bet Ben would’ve gone about this very different.
Saying goodbye to Maya when I dropped her off at her Dad’s tonight on the way home.
An early birthday present! Love turns 2 tomorrow!
One of my favorite summer “toys”: my power washer. This thing’s getting some serious action these days.
My Daily Brew breakfast burrito.
Rachel Martinez left her crock pot here. Weird.
Katrin’s goosebumps after their swim workout this morning…but, 30 minutes later in The Daily Brew.
Last outdoor shower for a few weeks 🙁
The dock down at The Megansett Yacht Club.
And, the dingy dock.
Spent the morning with these little birds while the rest of the squad was training.
Megansett Yacht Club getting ready for the season. Gotta’ get Bode on this slide this year.
First year for Bode biking down to the yacht club past Ben’s grandma’s house.
More shells than I’ve ever seen washed up on the beach since last summer. This is before I got after them with the rake.
And, after. I don’t know why, but I love doing work like this on the beach. I’m sure it will all wash back over after a tide or two.
I’m getting on the Powerdot train.
Made breakfast for the squad today.
Bunch of technology nerds.
Susan gave Maya a little belated birthday cash gift!
