How has it taken me 41 years to discover the many uses for cookie cutters? Here we go.

Back to Staples to make Valentine’s for Maya’s team 🙂

I was blow drying my hair this afternoon and caught this view of my bedroom. I love that Kat gave me that pillow for Christmas years ago. I love that we got that incredible bed from a company that wanted to sponsor me back in 2010. I love that I remember calling Ben to ask him if it was ok if I bought that mirror that I found at Home Goods that I LOVE and had been looking for for as long as I can remember. I love that I put those window treatments all by myself last winter during a snow storm. And, I love that that was Ben’s grandfather’s special chair that means so much to his mother, in particular. I love our bedroom, and all of the memories that make it so special to me.

Bode brought a Valentine for his jiu jitsu coaches, but asked me to give it to them before class because he was “too shy”.

LOVE Valentine’s week, especially at ballet class 🙂

If you’ve been reading my blog for the last year or so, you know that I’ve been “claiming” that I’m writing a book.  But, if you really know me, you also know that that’s not actually really going anywhere right now.

But, I actually really, really want to figure out how to get this thing off the ground.  It’s eating away at me, but I need help figuring out how to get started, deciding on what the whole thing should look like, and having someone to answer to on a regular basis.

I decided yesterday that it’s time for me to find a book buddy to help me on this project.  I also thought this would be a great place to find someone that would know me better than some random person at a publishing company, know the way I write, and know what would be best to get all of that wrapped up into a book format.  Or, not.  Or, maybe someone out there who knows what they’re talking about thinks I should do it totally different than what I’m envisioning….something way better than what I’m thinking.

So, if someone out there has any leads for me, PLEASE reach out and email me at (or, if that’s easier to remember).

Putting this post out there, alone, sends panic running through my veins just knowing that I have to make my move now.  But, when I preach about overcoming fears all of the time, I better be willing to put all that preaching to practice, right?
